The Real-Me Revolution
“I was stuck in a cycle of gaining weight for what I thought was no apparent reason yet discovering the extent to which everyday foods are loaded with sugars has been a real revelation. Many of us take common foods for granted but lurking underneath is a hidden danger that if left unchecked can lead to obesity in a fairly short time.
By shifting to a low-carb regime, I have realised that curbing sugars is the key to weight loss. To date, over the past seven months, I have shed 21 kgs. and have 9 left to go to achieve my goal. Not only have I lost weight but I feel so much more energetic and can make it through the day without feeling dead tired.
This has increased my enthusiasm for many things that I had thought I had simply out grown. The big plus is that low carb eating leaves you feeling less hungry too. Overall, there has not been a time in the last twenty years when I have felt better or more positive about myself.
